Error: 'Email address does not match a valid user account'

When using the 'Forgot your password' or 'Login Assistance' link, you may see the following error:

Error: 'Email address does not match a valid user account' when using 'Forgot Your Password'

I'm getting an error 'Email address does not match a valid user account' when trying to retrieve my login information.



Solution:

When using the 'Forgot your password' or 'Login Assistance' link, you may see the following error:

Try the following to correct the problem:

  • Enter an alternate email address. Your email address must match exactly with the one on file for your host account.
  • Make sure your account has not been deactivated. If you have not logged in for a while, your account may be inactive.

If you continue to have problems, check with your Webex Site Administrator. Usually you can reach your site admin through your local computer support or IT department. Your site administrator can check your account email address, and reactivate your account if necessary.
