Registering for a Meeting

In Meeting Center, the host may require attendees to register for the meeting in advance. The attendee must then register before receiving information about the meeting.

 

When a meeting host requires that you register before joining a meeting, you receive an invitation email message containing a link you can click to register for the meeting. If you do not receive an email invitation, you can register for the meeting directly from the WebEx Meeting Center site.

Registering from an Email Invitation

If you received an invitation email, you can register from that email.

 

To register from an email:

1. Open the invitation email, then click Register. The meeting information page appears.

2. Click Register. The registration page appears.

3. Complete the registration page. Starred fields are required.

4. Click Register Now. The Registration Confirmation page appears.

Note: If your registration request requires approval, the Registration Pending window will appear. Once the host approves your registration, you will receive a confirmation email.

5. Click View Meeting Information to view meeting details,

OR

Close the Registration Confirmed page. You will receive a confirmation email.

6. Join the meeting at the designated start time by clicking Join WebEx Meeting in the registration confirmation email.

Register on a Meeting Center Site

If you did not receive an email invitation, you can register for the meeting on the WebEx Meeting Center site.

  • When signed in to your WebEx account

  • Without a WebEx account

 

When signed in to your WebEx account:

1. In the left navigation bar, click Attend a Meeting > Browse Meetings to view the meetings listed on the site.

2. Click Register for the meeting you want to attend. The registration page appears.

Note: Depending on your site settings, your name and email address may be prefilled.

3. Complete the required registration information, then click Register Now. The Registration Confirmed page appears.

4. Click View Meeting Information to view meeting details,

OR

Click OK to close the Registration Confirmed page. You will receive a confirmation email.

5. In the confirmation email, click Join WebEx Meeting. You are connected to the meeting.

 

Without a WebEx account:

1. Navigate to the WebEx site, then type the meeting number, click Join, then click Register.

2. Complete the required registration information, then click Register Now. The Registration Confirmed page appears.

3. Click View Meeting Information to view meeting details,

OR

Click OK to close the Registration Confirmed page. You will receive a confirmation email.

4. In the confirmation email, click Join WebEx Meeting. You are connected to the meeting.
