Introduction

The network-based recorder captures screen activity and audio during an online WebEx session in Meeting Center, Training Center or Event Center. You do not need additional equipment to capture teleconference or VoIP audio with the network-based recorder. Recorded files are saved in the Advanced Recording Format (.arf), a proprietary WebEx format.

The recording is saved on a network server, thus saving space on your computer’s hard drive. The server processes your recording, then saves the file to your personal recordings folder on your WebEx services site. Your recordings are available on your WebEx site within 30 minutes after your meeting, session, or event ends.

Recordings are kept on the WebEx site until the Host or Site Administrator deletes them.
