Convert Unlicensed Cisco Spark Users in a Partner or Customer Organization

If people have signed up for Cisco Spark on their own, you can convert their accounts and assign them licenses from your organization. Then, they'll be able to use the features included with your Cisco Spark subscription.

Before You Begin


    You must have an active administrator email address with the same domain as the accounts you're converting.



    For peoples accounts whose addresses are part of a large public email domain, for example,, and, invite them using their company addresses.



    Before you convert their accounts, disable the directory connector.



1    From the partner view in, go to Customers and then select one of the following:
  • Choose a customer and click View Customer or Set Up Customer.
  • Choose your partner organization and click View My Organization.
2    From the customer view in, go to Overview, and then click Review on the Licenses card.  

If the button is unavailable or dimmed, no people require review and conversion.

3    Follow the prompts to select the people and their licenses.   

After you convert the account, the person moves to your organization and receives an email to confirm that their account is now managed by your organization.
