Interoperability for Cisco Spark and Jabber

In non-hybrid deployments, Cisco Spark SIP Addresses can now be changed after you set them. Just sign in to https://admin.ciscospark.com, go to Settings, and click Edit Subdomain. For more information, check out this helpful article.

Google Calendar Support for Cisco Spark Hybrid Calendar Service

If you or your customer uses G Suite Calendar, Cisco Spark Hybrid Calendar Service now supports G Suite Calendar.

Once integrated, users can just type “@spark” or “@webex” into the Where field of a meeting invite to autopopulate all the relevant meeting links and information. Scheduling a meeting has never been simpler—how is that for a time saver?

When “@spark” is used, a space will also automatically be created with everyone on the invite. Stop wasting time in-meeting and get on the same page beforehand with Cisco Spark.

Call Forward Enhancements

When you set the Call Forward option to forward a user's calls when there's no answer, you can now set the timer to any duration you'd like. The default value is 25 seconds, meaning that if a call isn't answered within that time, the call is forwarded to a designated number.

Coresident Connector for Hybrid Services and Firewall Traversal

Cisco Spark calendar and call integration no longer require a separate Expressway-C for hosting connectors.

500 hybrid calendar and call service users, including firewall traversal, can be supported with Cisco Spark Hybrid Calendar and Call Services on the small Cisco Expressway OVA. An Expressway C/E pair is all you need. This is a perfect match for BE6K Cisco Spark customers!

Larger deployments on medium and large Expressway OVAs is next up. For additional information, see the hybrid service setup documentation.

Set Up Auto Answer for Users

You can set up auto answer for individual users so that incoming calls to their desk phone connect automatically. Make things easier for your users so that they can carry on with their work. Calls ring once and then connect, with the call audio playing on the output you select: headset or speaker.
