Dialing Restrictions

If your organization has Cisco Spark call, you can restrict or allow the types of calls your users make:

  •

National—This option is on by default and refers to calling within your country of origin. Toll free numbers are also included in this category. If you turn off this setting, devices will only be able to dial internal extensions.

  •

Premium—Your dial plan determines what calls are premium. This setting refers to both incoming and outgoing calls.

  •

Mobile—This option is only available in countries that charge an additional fee for dialing mobile numbers. As such, this option isn't displayed for North American organizations.

  •

International—This option pertains to calling outside the country of origin.

After you configure this feature at the organizational level, you can set it differently for specific users and places. For example, if you only want executives to be able to make international calls, you can turn off international dialing for the organization but enable this feature for executives.
