Configure Site Settings for Productivity Tools

      
1    In Site Administration, go to Configuration > Common Site Settings > Productivity Tools.
2    Configure the settings for your site by checking or unchecking the check box or by entering a value for the corresponding options.
3    Click Update

Site Settings for Productivity Tools

On the Productivity Tools page, you can configure Installation Options, Integrations, and Meet Now options.

Installation Options

You have these options:

  • Show install Productivity Tools when hosts sign in to the site.

     

  • Automatically update Productivity Tools when new versions are available.

     

Integrations

You can enable integration of Productivity Tools with the following programs and systems:

  • Microsoft Outlook (Mac and Windows)

     

  •  

    Google Calendar (WBS31 and later)

      

    You can restrict this integration to users in specific G Suite domains.

      

  • IBM Lotus Notes

     

  •  

    WebEx Productivity Tools

      

    If you enable Productivity Tools integration, you can choose whether to show the Productivity Tools icon on the taskbar.

      

  • Microsoft Office

      

    •  

      Excel

        

    •  

      Power Point

        

    •  

      Word

        

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer

     

  • Instant Messengers

     

    • Lotus Sametime

       

    • Skype

       

    •  

      Microsoft Lync, OCS

        

  • Mozilla Firefox

     

  • Access Anywhere

     


Note


  • Individual features and settings within the programs and features that are integrated cannot be configured or hidden. For example, when the Productivity Tools integration with Microsoft Outlook is enabled, you cannot alter or hide which meeting options appear for hosts when scheduling.

     

  • The CMR Hybrid feature is supported only for the Microsoft Outlook integration for Windows. No other Productivity Tools integrations currently support CMR Hybrid.

     


Meet Now

You can change settings for the following:

  • Allow users to join unlisted meetings. (WBS31 and later)

     

  • Require hosts to approve users who use Meet Now to join meetings without passwords.

     

  • Verify and set tracking codes.
