This procedure is for Meeting Center sites only.

WebEx provides two meeting schedulers:

  • The Quick Scheduler: A one-page scheduler with basic options.

  • The Advanced Scheduler: A scheduler that offers more comprehensive options.

Setting a default meeting scheduler does not prevent hosts from using Outlook or Lotus Notes from scheduling meetings from those applications.

Step 1               On the left navigation bar, select Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options.
Step 2               In the Account Management Settings section, select one of the following options:
  • Quick Scheduler is default (also contains a link to Advanced Scheduler, MC only)

  • Advanced Scheduler is default (MC only)

Step 3               Select Update.

Change the Meeting Information Window

Note

This procedure applies to Meeting Center only.

During the meeting, the window displays general information about the meeting such as the topic, the hostname, and teleconferencing information.

To create a new template, you can use Microsoft PowerPoint to edit the default template. You can add additional information and graphics or change the color scheme. Hosts can select your new page design (also called a template) when scheduling a meeting.

Do not modify or remove existing meeting information or agenda in the default template.

Step 1               On the left navigation bar, select Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options.
Step 2               Scroll down to the Site Options section.
Step 3               Under Info Tab specific, select Create Template.
Step 4               Select Open to open the file in PowerPoint.
Step 5               Change the template as needed and save it.
Step 6               Once you finish editing, in Site Administration select Add Template.
Step 7               Browse to the template that you created and select Open.
Step 8               Select Upload to add the new template to your templates list on the Site Settings for Common page. All templates listed are added to the host’s Info Tab list box in the Scheduler.
Step 9               Set the order in which the host sees the templates by moving them up or down. Delete templates using the Delete button.
Step 10               Select Update to save your changes.
