Screen Sharing for Cisco Spark Call Users

For Cisco Spark call users, Cisco Spark app screen sharing during a call is not supported in the following scenarios (even if both participants have the Cisco Spark app):

  • Calls are placed between the Cisco Spark app and a desk phone

  • One of the phones is not a Cisco Spark call desk phone. This scenario includes a phone that is:
    • an external phone (such as mobile or landline)

    • registered to Cisco on-premises UC infrastructure (such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Cisco Business Edition 6000)

    • registered to a third-party call control system

Screen Sharing for Cisco Spark Hybrid Call Service Users

For users that have on-premises registered devices, you must configure Call Service Aware for them to use Cisco Spark app screen sharing during a call.

For more information, see the Hybrid Call Service articles in Help Central for prerequisites, configuration steps, and known issues.

Screen Sharing for Cisco Spark Free Users

Users who signed up for the free Cisco Spark app can share their screens with each other. For more information and how to use this feature, see this article.

Regardless of whether users are configured for Cisco Spark call, Cisco Spark Hybrid Call Services, or the free Cisco Spark app, users can share their screens within the app.
