Why Should you Register for a Meeting?

Registration lets the host gather information about the attendees, restrict access, and secure meeting information.

Not all meetings require registration. If your meeting does, you can register from the email invitation or from the WebEx site.

Once the host approves your registration, you receive a registration confirmation email. You can now join the meeting once it starts. If the meeting is already in progress, and the host has chosen to approve all registration requests automatically, you join the meeting immediately.

Register from an Email Invitation


      
Step 1    Open the email and select Register. The Meeting Information page appears.
Step 2    Select Register.   The Registration page appears.
Step 3    Complete the registration form and select Register Now. The Registration Confirmation page appears.

Register from the WebEx Site


        
Step 1    Go to the WebEx site.
Step 2    If you have a WebEx account:
  1. Log in.
  2. Go to Attend a Meeting > Browse Meetings. The Meeting Calendar appears.
Step 3    If you do not have a WebEx account:
  1. Enter the meeting number and select Join.
  2. Select Register and the Meeting Calendar appears.
Step 4    Select Register for the meeting you want to attend. The registration page appears.
Step 5    Complete the registration form and select Register Now. The Registration Confirmation page appears.
