Users with administrator privileges on their computers can download the Meeting Center application MSI from the Meeting Center > Support > Downloads page of their WebEx sites.
When the WebEx site is updated to a new version of the Meeting Center application, the package already installed on the user’s computer does not automatically update the next time that user joins a meeting on their WebEx site. Instead, a separate package is installed using their browser’s plug-in which contains the updated application version.
The MSI-installed version is listed under Programs and Features as "Cisco WebEx Meeting Center" with the Meeting Center application version listed. The second installation is simply "Cisco WebEx Meetings" with no version listed, as it can include multiple application versions from multiple sites.
The recommended behavior for Site Administrators is to install the updated MSI package whenever your WebEx site's application version is upgraded. This process can be automated using a remote management tool such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (previously Systems Management Server).
