Add Users and User Entitlements

   

Administrators must have Full Administrator privileges role. Ensure that licenses are available for a customer organization, before adding users and user entitlements for the organization.

    

If your organization has Active Directory synchronization, you can bulk entitle users using the Comma-separated Values (CSV) template. You can also locate the user records on the Users page and entitle them one at a time.

    
        
1    In Cisco Cloud Collaboration Management, select Users and click Manage Users.
2    Select Manually add or modify users and click Next.
3    Select either Email address, or Names and Email addresses to enter each person from your organization, separated by commas. Click Next when done.                  

You can enter email addresses manually and you can also copy up to 500 addresses and paste them in the field.

     
4    In the Add Services for Users dialog box, select the services you want to entitle for this user and click Save.                  
Note             

Select Message to enable Care services.

      
     
5    Select the appropriate license:      
  •        

    Chat and Callback—Use this to enable chat and callback for the agent.

            

    Note               

    Select Call to enable the callback service.

            
                                  

     
What to Do Next

       

Agents receive a welcome email and must sign in to Cisco Spark and verify that the licenses are provisioned in Cisco Cloud Collaboration Management.

   

Edit Cisco Spark Service Licenses for Individual Users

   

Administrators with full privileges can edit individual licenses for Cisco Spark service.

   
       
1    In Cisco Cloud Collaboration Management, select Users.
2    Select the user whose license you want to edit to view the user details.
3    Click Edit.
4    Select the services to add or remove and click Save.

Add an Alias for Individual Users

   

Administrators with full privileges can add an alias or an alternate nam for a Cisco Spark service user.

   
       
1    In Cisco Cloud Collaboration Management, select Users.
2    Select a user to open the user details.
3    Click Care under Services.
4    Enter an Alias and click Save.             

When you customize an agent profile during chat template configuration, you can choose to display the agent's alias name.

     

Edit User Details

Administrators with full privileges can edit Cisco Spark care user details.
        
1    In Cisco Cloud Collaboration Management, select Users.
2    Select a user to edit details.
3    Click the edit icon next to the displayed username.
4    Edit these user details:      
  •        

    First Name

           

  •        

    Last Name

           

  •        

    Display Name

           

  •        

    Email Address

           

  •        

    Spark SIP Address

           

  •        

    Administrator Roles

           

     
5    Click Save.
