The ‘Meet Now’ feature in the Webex Desktop App does not trigger the '(Forward to others) Join Webex meeting in progress' email.
Hosts do not receive the 'Forward to others' email when starting an instant meeting using the 'Meet Now' feature in PT.
The Webex Desktop App does not trigger an invitation email when 'Use Personal Room for all my instant meetings' is enabled.
Note:
Remember that attendees can easily join your Personal Room meeting by browsing to SITENAME.Webex.com/join/username, where Sitename is your Webex site, and Username is your username for help, see: Cisco Webex Personal Rooms in Cisco Webex Meetings
Solution:
When starting a 'Meet Now' meeting using the Webex Desktop App with 'Use Personal Room for all my instant meetings' enabled under the 'Meet Now' settings, the '(Forward to others) Join Webex meeting in progress’ is not triggered by Webex to the Host. This is by design.
As a workaround, start your 'Meet Now' meeting by logging into your Webex site which will trigger the '(Forward to others) Join Webex meeting in progress’ email.
You can also use the 'Invite & Remind' option under the Participant menu in a meeting.
