When you configure a default layout on a device, it overrides the layout set up for a meeting. The configured default layout will not apply to content share layout in meetings.

The end-users can choose another layout from the device UI after the meeting has started.

Default layout is available cloud-registered devices and with Webex optimized experience for Edge for Devices linked devices.

Configure

You can enable the following configurations from Control Hub or the local web interface of the device. From Control Hub, you can select to configure an individual device or configure in bulk. Read the Device configurations article for more information on how to access it.

Default meeting layout: 

      Video DefaultLayoutFamily Local: <Auto, Equal, Overlay, Prominent, Prominent_L, Single>

If the configuration is set to Auto, the meeting layout is determined by meeting settings .

Default layout for local share: 

      Video DefaultLayoutFamily LocalContent: <Auto, Equal, Overlay, Prominent, Prominent_L, Single>
