As an administrator you can assign a default PIN to new users. If you choose to set this default PIN for new users added to your organization, communicate to your users what that PIN is, and that it must be reset using their device or the app before they can access their voicemail. If this feature is not turned on, each new user must initially set their own PIN on Cisco Webex Settings .


From the customer view in, go to Services > Calling > Service Settings.


Turn the Set Default Voicemail PIN toggle on.


Enter the Default Voicemail PIN with the following requirements:

  • The PIN must contain a minimum of 4 digits and a maximum of 8.

  • The PIN must not contain the same digit 4 times in a row.


Re-enter the PIN in Confirm Voicemail PIN and then the PIN is saved automatically.
