UPDATE: July 24, 2015

An emergency patch for WebEx Productivity Tools for Mac within Outlook was deployed to all customer sites as of July 10, 2015 to address the issue reported below.

The Productivity Tools version that addresses this issue is “2.36.13032”. Note that Windows Productivity Tools users will also see this version if they install Productivity Tools directly from their site. There were no changes to Windows Productivity Tools in this emergency patch and users that already have Productivity Tools installed will not be prompted to upgrade.

On WebEx sites that have "auto update" enabled for Productivity Tools and Mac Productivity Tools installed, end users will only need to accept the update to obtain the fixed version. On WebEx sites that do NOT have "auto update" enabled for Productivity Tools, end users will need to go to the downloads page of their WebEx site to download and install the fixed version.

A recent Mac OS security update (2015-005) that was released June 30, 2015 disables the WebEx Productivity Tools for Mac toolbar within Outlook. This issue is under investigation and there are no proposed workarounds to restore the Productivity Tools toolbar in Outlook at this time (including uninstall/reinstall). Cisco is working with Apple and Microsoft for a resolution. If WebEx Productivity Tools for Mac is important to users in your organization, we recommend not installing the mentioned Mac OS update.

If you have already installed this update, you can schedule and start meetings from your WebEx site as a workaround.
