Designate Your Interpreters as Panelists

Panelists can share their video and participate in discussions. Designate the interpreter of the active speaker and the interpreter of the people who are hard of hearing as panelists.

Pin Video

Pin Video of Your Sign Language Interpreter

Keep your sign language interpreter front and center. You can pin the main video for everyone, so that when a presenter starts sharing content, the sign language interpreter remains visible.

At the top of the screen, select Lock this video on a specific participant Pin video, and then select Everyone to lock the main video to the sign language interpreter for everyone in the event.

If you don't want to pin the main video to your interpreter, remind attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing that they can pin the thumbnail video of the interpreter themselves.

Pin Video of the Panelists

Remind your interpreters that they can pin the thumbnail video of the panelists that they're translating for.

Change the Screen Layout

Remind attendees that they can switch their full-screen video layout when content isn't being shared. Attendees can use Grid View to keep the interpreters in view.

Use the Multimedia Viewer for Video Streams

Use the Multimedia Viewer panel to share a remote Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) stream or a video stream of your sign language interpreter. A CART provider listens to speech and instantaneously translates all the speech to text.
