This feature is available for meetings and events that are recorded in the cloud in MP4 format in WBS39.5 and later sites. To find out which version you’re using, see Find Your Cisco Webex Meetings Version Number. This feature isn't available for meetings and events that are recorded locally on the host's computer.
The feature isn't available for TSP audio sites, FedRAMP sites, data centers in China, or Video Platform version 1.0 sites. For browser requirements, see Browser Support for Video-Centric Network-Based MP4 Recordings.
The layout of our video-centric MP4 recordings is ideal for company announcements, team meetings, town hall-style meetings, and video blogging. The speaker's high-resolution video shows in full-screen and up to five thumbnail videos of the participants show at the top of the screen, when no content is being shared. You can't close, minimize, or maximize the video panel.
Video-centric MP4 recordings include content that's shared from a screen, an application, a Webex Board, an iPhone, and an iPad. For Webex Meetings (not Webex Events) it also includes video content that's optimized for motion and video (30 fps). The recordings don't include audio maps or content thumbnails.
If you share content during the meeting or event using Share File or Share Whiteboard, the MP4 recording will not be saved in video-centric format.
If you want to hide the recording transcript, select the arrow to the left of the transcriptions panel. Hosts can exclude the transcript from a recording if they don't want others to see it when they play the recording.
To view the panels that were used during the meeting, select Participants, Chat, or Polling on the left of the recording.
Hosts can remove unneeded portions from the beginning and end of their recordings. For more information, see Trim the Beginning and End of Your Meeting Recording in Webex Meetings and Webex Events.
