Before you begin

  • Configure email SMTPs with trusted certificates to use the voicemail to email feature.

  • We recommend that you set up or change your company's voicemail settings during off-peak hours only to avoid any service interruption.

1

From the customer view https://admin.webex.com, go to Services and then choose Call > Settings.

2

Under Company Voicemail, toggle the Company Voicemail switch on.

3

(Optional) Check the Voicemail to phone check box and choose one of the following options from the drop-down list:

  • None—People can only access their voicemail from their desk phones.
  • Search for a number—Enter a number that people can dial to access their voicemail when they're not at their desk.
4

(Optional) Check the Voicemail to email check box so that people can receive their voicemail messages in an email (.wav file). You can also choose to have the voicemail message attached and even transcribed in the email. And if you're unable to deploy third-party signed certificates, uncheck the Secure email delivery check box.

5

(Optional) Check the Voicemail to Cisco Webex Teams check box so that people can receive their voicemail messages in a Cisco Webex message. You can also choose to have the voicemail message attached and even transcribed in the space.

6

(Optional) Uncheck the Enable OTP check box if you don't want people to receive a one-time PIN (OTP) when the following conditions occur:

  • Someone gets locked out of their voicemail.
  • Someone's voicemail account expires.
  • Someone is newly onboarded.
