During a full screen share in a Webex Teams call or through instant messaging, choose one:

  • If you're sharing your screen and you want to give remote control to the other person who sent a request, click more , and then click Give control.

    The other person can then control your shared screen. You can regain control by clicking anywhere on the screen.

  • If you're viewing a person's screen share and you'd like to request remote control, click More and then click Request Control. Click Request after you've read the prompt.

    If the person accepts your request, you can then control their shared screen. Either side can control the mouse. The screen share continues, but whoever is sharing has control. The session needs to be ended for screen control to stop.

What to do next

At any point, you or the other person can end the remote screen share by clicking more , and then choosing End session. A prompt appears where you can confirm:

The screen share continues until whoever's sharing clicks Stop .

Before You Begin

If your screen is going to be controlled, you need to allow Webex Teams to control your computer in the Security & Privacy > Accessibility settings. That way, the mouse works during a remote desktop session.
