When you search for someone in your Contacts list, your search automatically includes your Outlook contacts (Windows) and local address book (Mac) as well, so you can easily find people outside the app and make a call. You'll just need to give Webex Teams permission to access your address book if you're using a Mac.

1

Go to , click Contact a group or contact , and then select Add a contact.

You can also right-click at the bottom of your Contacts list or in a space with another person from your Spaces list and select Add a contact from there.

In Webex Teams for Windows, you can also right-click a person's name in Search results and add them as a contact from there as well.

2

Enter the person's name in the Search field and then click the drop-down list to either assign the person to a default group (Top contacts or Other contacts) or Create New Group.

If you're creating a new group, give the group a name and then click Create.

3

Click Add.

The person now appears in your Contacts list under the appropriate group and you can send them a message or call them right from there.
