Customize the Settings menu for 9800 Series and 8875 phones (Control Hub)
The menu customization feature allows administrators to enhance usability by displaying only relevant settings to users, and to improve control and security by restricting access to sensitive settings.
Customize the phone's Settings menu to hide sensitive configurations and display only the items you want users to access.
By default, all menu items are visible on the phone. When you hide certain menu items, the index numbers of the remaining items will adjust automatically.
The custom settings take effect only on phones that have completed registration. On phones not yet onboarded to a calling system, all menu items remain visible.
