Optimize the resolution and frame rate of shared content in a Webex call or meeting

On desktop, you can choose how the app optimizes shared content based on what you're sharing.

You have the flexibility to decide how the app optimizes shared content during a call or meeting, or even outside of them.

Open Webex and sign in.

Do one of the following:

When you share content in a phone call or share content during a meeting, in the Share window, select your preference from the drop-down list under Sharing options:
- Automatically adjust
- Best for text and images
- Best for video and motion
- Optimize for resolution
When you're not in a call or meeting:
1. Click Settings on the navigation sidebar.
2. Click Sharing content.
3. Under Resolution and frame rate, select your preference.

If you select a preference in the Share window, the app doesn't save it. However, if you update your preference in Settings Settings button represented by a cog icon , the app saves it and applies it to all your future calls and meetings.

Open Webex and sign in.

When you share content in a phone call or share content during a meeting, tap your preference:

Optimize for text and images
Optimize for video

If you choose Optimize for video, Share device audio is toggled on automatically for you.

Tap Share screen.
