Set up password protection for the Settings menu

You can secure the Settings 
menu on a phone with password
protection. Once enabled, the users are required to provide the correct password to access
the Settings menu.

In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, select |

Locate the profile that you want to set up. |

Navigate to the Common Phone Profile Information pane and set up a password in the Local Phone Unlock Password field. |

Click Save. |

Click Apply Config. |
| 6 |
Restart the phones. |
