Accessing the DECT base station password
Use the DECT serviceability password to access your DECT network base stations to troubleshoot deployment problems such as multicell networks not forming correctly, or checking DECT radio signal strength between bases.
The password access isn’t designed for basic configuration; use Control Hub for configuring your DECT base stations.
All parameters configured in the Control Hub are validated and tested by the Webex Calling team. Hence, changing the parameters directly in the base station can cause a catastrophic outage for your multi cell network. Unless advised by the Cisco Technical Support, don’t change the configurations directly on the base station.
List of parameters to modify
This section lists the parameters that the administrators can modify and the parameters that must remain untouched.
This list indicates the pages on the DECT web interface that may be modified, or actions taken on them. The bold titles represent the pages accessible on the base station web interface.
-
Change nothing means do not modify the parameters.
-
Change anything indicates that there’s no restriction to the items and can be modified or selected.
-
Any parameters modified through the web interface but present in the Webex Calling configuration is reverted to the Webex Calling values during the nightly resync or when the base station is rebooted.
