Install and set up Webex LTI Legacy in Brightspace by D2L so that teachers and students in your organization can start and attend classes, participate in class discussions, share files, and schedule office hours.
Install Webex LTI Legacy
Before you can install Webex LTI Legacy, you first must Configure Your Webex Site for Webex LTI Legacy.

Sign in to D2L with your administrator account and click the Admin Tools gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. | ||

In the Organization Related section, select Manage Extensibility, click the OAuth 2.0 tab and click Register an app. | ||

Enter the following information in the fields provided:

Select Register.

Request Webex LTI Legacy installation credentials

If you are an existing Webex customer with a current Webex LTI Legacy registration, please open a support case with Cisco TAC for assistance in generating installation credentials.

Configure Your Brightspace by D2L Site

In D2L, go to the course where you want to use Webex LTI Legacy and click the Admin Tools Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. |

In the Organization Related section click External Learning Tools. |

Click New Link and enter the following information:

Click Add Org Units, select all units that you want to make Webex LTI Legacy available for, and then click Insert. |

Select Save and Close. |
Add and Authorize Webex LTI Legacy

In D2L, navigate to a course and select Content. |

Click Add a module and enter a name. |

Select the name of the LTI tool that you set in Configure Your Brightspace by D2L Site. |

Click the tool name to open Webex LTI Legacy. |

From the Setup tab, scroll to the Classroom collaboration section, click Authorize and follow the on-screen instructions. Enable features from the Setup tab to be available in your class.
