Turn on NDI output during a meeting or webinar

Your organization needs to enable this feature. For more information, see Enable live streaming in Webex Meetings and Webex Events.

Only the host can initially turn on NDI, but once turned on, the host or cohost can choose live streaming with NDI for the meeting.

As a host during the meeting, select Show Menu Bar > Audio and Video > Video Settings.

Select NDI management, and check Allow NDI technology for my meetings and webinars.

As a host or cohost, in the meeting window, click More options > Live streaming with NDI.

When selected, a LIVE indicator appears. You can control your streaming outputs in the new NDI mode window.

Select your preferred NDI streaming outputs using these options.

In the NDI mode window, to add a participant, click + Output video.

You can exchange or remove a participant from NDI output at any time.

  • To remove the current participant from NDI output, click Remove.
  • To change the current participant from NDI output for another participant, click Exchange, select a participant from the list, and click Exchange.
You can add up to four participants at a time. The total number of streams, system performance, network performance, and other factors may impact received output quality. The output quality of participants appears in each window (1920x1080, 1280x720, etc.).

To add your own video stream, click + Output self view.

To add the active speaker, click + Output active speaker.

To add shared content, click + Output sharing content.
