Getting Started with WebEx
To get started with WebEx, you need
A host account on your WebEx site.
The WebEx URL for your WebEx site.
Your WebEx username and password.
The welcome email that you receive from your Administrator contains your WebEx URL. Visit the URL to sign in to your WebEx site. From there, you can easily meet online, over the phone or your computer, with anyone anywhere in the world.
Log in to Your WebEx Site
The welcome email that you receive contains the site URL, your username, and a link to set up your password. If your site uses SSO, you use those credentials to sign in to your WebEx site.
|Step 1||Visit your WebEx URL.|
|Step 2||Select Log In.|
|Step 3||At the prompt, enter your username and your password, then select Sign In.|
Set up Your Center
Depending on your organization, you can have one or more of the following centers; Meeting Center, Event Center, Training Center, and Support Center.
All centers are automatically set up when you host or join a meeting or session. You can save time by setting them up, on Windows or Mac, before the meeting or session.
Install Productivity Tools
Cisco Productivity Tools provides shortcuts that enable you to start, schedule, or join a meeting without having to sign in to your Cisco WebEx site.
Your site administrator can set WebEx up to automatically download the Productivity Tools the first time that you sign in. If not, we highly recommend that you download it from your WebEx site.
