Cisco collaboration devices partner ecosystem is built on our certification program to ensure that customers get the best experience out of their Cisco collaboration devices and make integration as seamless as possible when integrating with third-party technology.
Verified third-party solutions meet our high standards for delivering high quality and ease of use. Here, you can check and find solutions that we have verified to work with Cisco collaboration devices.
The following tables list the supported products and their versions. Third party products have been tested on Cisco collaboration devices and with the version specified in the following tables. While other versions of the third party products may integrate equally well with Cisco devices, they have not been tested.
Devices
DisplaysCisco verified displays have been tested for compatibility and robustness of their video interfaces, optical characteristics, and basic security practices. When connected to a Cisco collaboration device they automatically reconfigure with the verified optimal configuration.
Testing of the display includes:
-
Image quality: The certification aims to ensure both the intrinsic image quality (white point, gamma, contrast, luminance) of a display as well as uniformity of the image and consistency between different displays.
-
Latency: Minimal time until an HDMI signal gets emitted as light to ensure as little lag as possible and synchronization with audio.
-
Standby reliability: To ensure power savings, the display must go to standby mode and wake up in due time when commanded by a Cisco device.
-
No user interaction: The certification ensures that no user interaction, for example input source selection, is required and that users are not prompted nor disturbed by pop up messages.
-
Self-configuration: Certified displays recognize Cisco devices and consequently auto configure with Cisco’s required settings.
-
Secure connection: Certified displays must be upgradable and must not attempt to stream content elsewhere than to a Cisco device.
Additional testing is required for touch or interactive displays, mentioned as “Touch” in the display type. Interactive displays coupled with a Cisco device will have to behave similarly to a Cisco Board and include compatibility with Microsoft touch experiences. The tests include compatibility with USB as well as the displays built-in gestures and functions.
Tests get improved over time based on technical developments and insight. It is the vendor’s responsibility to stay compatible with the requirements with subsequent firmware upgrades.

HDMI distribution amplifiers replicate a single HDMI video input to multiple HDMI video outputs. The Cisco collaboration device can control the devices connected to each HDMI video output using HDMI CEC. The verification tests cover HDMI interfaces including standby and wake-up robustness and device control.
You need to connect the distribution amplifier with a USB cable to the Cisco collaboration device.
