Show yourself in front of your presentation in a Webex meeting

If your shared content is on the same screen as your camera video, your virtual background is removed automatically.

If the meeting is recorded, your video won't appear over the shared content in the recording.

Participants who join the meeting on Webex App for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android see your video in front of your presentation.

You have the flexibility to set the app to show you in front of your presentation during a meeting, or even when you're not.

The app saves your setting, meaning any change you make applies to future meetings too.

Do one of the following:

During a meeting:
1. Click Share content and choose the screen or application that you want to share.
  To find out more about the options for sharing content, see Share content in a meeting.
2. Under Sharing options, check Show me in front.
  If you joined the meeting from a computer that's connected to a video system the app prompts you to move the meeting to your computer. If you prefer to keep the meeting on the device and move it to your computer, check Keep the meeting on this device as well. Click Move meeting to computer.
3. Click Share.
4. If your video is covering up the shared content in the lower right corner of the screen, drag it to another location.
  To resize your video, hover over a corner of your video until the resize handle appears. Then, drag that corner of your video diagonally.
When you're not in a meeting:
1. Click Settings on the navigation sidebar.
2. Click Sharing content.
3. Under Sharing options, check Show me in front, and click Save.

What to do next

To stop showing yourself in front of your presentation while you're presenting, do one of the following:

Click More options in your video and uncheck Show me in front.
Click More sharing options in the control bar at the top of the screen and uncheck Show me in front.
