The Web Crawler enables you to collect publicly available web pages for use as a knowledge base in the Cisco AI Agent. By using this feature, you agree to the following:
Acceptable Use
Use the Web Crawler only to access and collect publicly available information from web pages that you are legally permitted to access. Ensure that your use of the Web Crawler complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights (including copyright, terms of service, and privacy requirements). Only use content obtained via the Web Crawler for lawful and authorized purposes within Cisco's AI Agent services. If you ingest personal data, you are solely responsible for ensuring that any such data is collected, used, and processed in full compliance with all applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Prohibited Use
You must not use the Web Crawler to:

Access or collect information from websites or web pages that are restricted, require payment, authentication, or express consent (e.g., behind paywalls or login screens).

Circumvent technical restrictions, security measures, or usage limitations imposed by website owners.

Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.

Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of this feature.

Use data obtained via the Web Crawler for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.

Ingest or process personal data in violation of applicable data protection or privacy laws.
Privacy Notice
Cisco provides the Web Crawler tool as a service to customers. Cisco does not access, review, or control the content, including any personal data, that customers choose to ingest using the tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of this tool—including the collection, use, and processing of any personal data—complies with all applicable data protection and privacy laws. Cisco disclaims any liability arising from your use of the Web Crawler in contravention of such laws.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Web Crawler complies with all applicable requirements and third-party terms. Cisco reserves the right to restrict or terminate access in the event of suspected or actual misuse. If you have reason to believe this feature is being misused, please report it to the Cisco Privacy Request portal.
