Your organization administrator must enable this feature in Control Hub.

Share meeting content

Open Webex and sign in.

Go to Meetings Meetings icon, and select Meeting recap.

Select the meeting content you want to share and click , then select Share to Slack in the dropdown list.

If you already have meeting content opened, click at the top of the meeting details window, then select Share to Slack in the dropdown list.

The first time you share, the app prompts you to sign-in to Slack. You’ll also be asked to authorize Cisco AI Assistant to post content on your behalf.

Select the meeting content you want to share:

  • Choose from Meeting summary, Recording, or both.

    Uncheck the check box to deselect an item.

  • Click on the Search box to select a Slack channel, or person.

  • Optional: You can also include a text message.

Then, click Share.

Manage your connected Slack account

View and manage your connected Slack accounts in Webex App.

Open Webex and sign in.

Click Settings Settings button represented by a cog icon.

Go to Integrations > Share meeting recap to a third party app.

  • Click Remove—disconnect a Slack account.

  • Click Add connection—connect a Slackaccount.

Data collection and retention policy

When you sign into your Slack account, Webex App stores the following information:

  • Slack account information, including workspace names and email addresses.

  • The user token you authorized for use with Webex App.

Your data is encrypted and securely stored, and only used to:

  • Display and manage your connected Slack account.

  • Enable the sharing of Webex App meeting content to Slack channels or individual users.

Data is retained for up to 90 days from the time of authorization. After 90 days, you will need to sign in with Slack again, and re-authorize with Webex App.

If you manually disconnect your Slack account, all related data is immediately and permanently deleted from Webex App.
