Record a call
This Help article is for Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series registered to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM).
When you are on an active call, you can record it. You might hear a notification tone as you record the call.
You can also record a call during a call conference.
Before you begin
Your administrator enables your phone with call recording.

While on an active call, press Record or press More (…) and select Record. The notification message |

(Optional) To stop the recording:
You see a recording stopped message and an icon

Press End Call to end the call. |
