Enhanced Webex Calling activation code onboarding process requires PhoneOS 4.0 or later. Phones with earlier firmware will be automatically upgraded to the latest firmware when the following conditions are met:

• The phone is not provisioned and not configured for automated provisioning through a MAC address or local DHCP options.

• Your firewall policy allows HTTPS traffic to *.cisco.com and *.webex.com so the upgrade can proceed.

• The phone boots up with network connected.
