Webex Teams | Add Your Box Account

When you're working on a project with other people, you can work on your shared project documents right from the Webex Teams space. When you add your Box account, you can share your Box files directly in the space. Your administrator provides you with permission to access your company's enterprise content management from within Webex Teams.

Click your profile picture, select Settings > Accounts, and then click Add account.

Enter your account information and connect to your account.

Then, click Grant access to Box.


 

Your administrator can restrict the account that you use to sign into your Box account. If you receive an access error, contact your administrator to confirm your account information.

Webex Teams | Upload Files to Box

You can upload files or folders from your computer to your Box account and then choose to share these files in a space.

In the message area, click Attachment , and then select Share from Box.

Choose where to add the files in your Box directory. Click Add , select Upload, then drag and drop your files and click Upload.

Webex Teams | Share Files from Box

You can share your Box files directly in a space, and everyone in the space can access the latest version of the files.

You can select a file directly from Box and then choose who can view the file, after you share it in the space.

In the message area, click Attachment , and then choose Share from Box.

Select a file on Box and click .

Then, decide who can view the file in the space:

  • Anyone—Anyone can view the file, this includes people from outside your organization.
  • People in your organization—Only people in your organization can view the file.
  • People with existing access—Webex Teams uses the permissions already set up for viewing the file in Box.

When people don't have access to the file, they see the file name but they can't view the file or see a thumbnail preview.

Make your selection and click Apply.

Then press Enter, to send the link.

Webex Teams | View Files Shared from Box

When people share files from Box in a space, you can click on the files to view them. The file opens in the application that is associated with the file type.

Go to Spaces , and select a space.

Click on the file in the space to open it.
