Pair the Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter to your Cisco wireless headset

You can use the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app to pair the Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter with your Cisco wireless headsets. This app also allows you to re-pair your USB-C Adapter if you have erased your headset's Bluetooth® pairings or need to replace your headset.

Before you begin

To pair the Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter with your Cisco wireless headset, start by ensuring the adapter is physically connected to your computer and you have installed the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app.

Initiate the USB-C Adapter pairing by using either of the following methods.

  • In the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app, choose Accessories in the left pane. A Start pair button appears below the adapter image. Click Start pair.
  • In the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app, click the USB-C Adapter image. Choose Bluetooth in the left pane, and then click Start pair.

Turn on your headset and then switch it to pairing mode. The adapter and your headset will pair automatically.

During the pairing process, the LED on the adapter blinks blue when the Bluetooth pairing mode starts.

Confirm the connection. Once a successful connection is established, the LED shines solid blue and the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app displays the connection status as Paired with Cisco USB-C Adapter.

Manage Bluetooth devices for your Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter

With the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app, you can manage your paired headsets for the Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter. This includes viewing the history of headsets previously paired with your USB-C Adapter, connecting to them, or removing them from the history list. To access these features, click the USB-C Adapter image on the Accessories pane in the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app.

  • Using the Connect button in connection history, you can quickly switch the Bluetooth® connection from one headset to another.

    When you click Connect, the current paired headset will be disconnected first.

  • To remove a headset connection from the history record stored in the Cisco Headset USB-C Adapter, click the Remove button next to the headset.
