You can use Webex Desk Hub to share content from your laptop during a meeting. Because Desk Hub acts like a hub between your display screen and your computer, it buffers your presentation so you're not interrupted by any delays.

You have two ways to share content from your computer:

  • Wireless screen sharing—Allows you to share content without cables. You collaborate with your coworkers using either the Webex App or with Guest share. This feature is only available if your administrator configures it.

Guest share requires that you enter a 4-digit PIN that is shown on the external display screen. If you don't use a display screen, then you will not see the PIN.

  • USB-C input also called Cable sharing—Allows you to share content with the included USB-C cables.

When you share, audio is streamed through the Webex Desk Hub.

You must connect a Webex Desk Camera and a secondary or external display screen to your Webex Desk Hub to get the full supported benefits of this feature.

Cable share allows you to share content from your computer with a USB-C cable. A USB-C cable can be more reliable than cableless sharing if you have a large amount of data.
