Webex App | Restricted network capabilities
We're making it easier to use Webex App on restricted networks, such as airline Wi-Fi, so that you can continue working.
Some networks, such as airline Wi-Fi networks, have limited capacity to transfer large amounts of data. Usually, those networks block real-time communications to conserve bandwidth. Webex App can adjust the services available, to comply with these network policies.
When you're connected to a restricted network, you can:
Send messages
Add contacts
Schedule a meeting
Create and manage teams
View content or attachments
Add or view embedded apps
View custom shortcuts
Review People Insights
Configure settings
When you're connected to a restricted network, you can't:
Make calls
Join meetings
Send large files
Check voicemail
Share content
Check for updates
When you connect to an unrestricted network, all Webex App
capabilities are available.
