If you enable Do not disturb (DND) or Call forwarding, they take priority over Away routing.

Open Webex and sign in.

Click your profile picture, click Availability and then click Away.

In the Greeting dropdown, choose a greeting message from the available list.

Callers hear a recording of the greeting you choose.

In the Ends dropdown, choose from the available options or click Custom to add a custom end date and time.

In the Send calls to dropdown, choose where to send your call:

  • Enter a number, ensure the number is correctly formatted
  • Choose Voicemail only
  • Choose a number previously used (we save the last 5 numbers)

Click Manage notifications and choose if you want to be notified when the caller is greeted.

Click Set.

Your availability on your profile picture changes to show Away until your specified time and includes the greeting you chose, unless you already set a custom status.
To turn off the setting, click your profile picture, click Availability > Away and click Turn off.

  • Choose when the setting ends from the available options or add a custom date and time.
  • Choose where to send your call, either voicemail, enter a number, or choose a number previously used (we save the last 5 numbers). Ensure the number is correctly formatted.
  • Under call handling, choose Pickup first if you want the opportunity to pick up the call before being routed to voicemail or transfer. Then choose number of rings before being routed.
  • Choose if you're notified when the caller is greeted.

Tap Set.

To turn off the setting, tap the Calling tab, tap the Away banner at the top and then tap Turn off.
