Delete a Webex Recording

Sign in to your Webex site.

In classic view, go to My Webex > My Recordings tab.

Select Meetings, Events, or Training Sessions to locate the recording to delete.

For that recording, select and the select Delete.

Permanently Delete or Recover a Deleted Network-Based Recording

In Cisco Webex Meetings you can permanently delete or restore a deleted recording.


Deleted files appear for up to 30 days in your Deleted Recordings folder.

Sign in to your Webex site.

Example: SITENAME.webex.com

Select Recordings from the navigation bar on the left.

Select the Deleted tab.

Check the recording that you want to recover or permanently delete.

  • To recover the recording, click the Restore icon and then select Restore in the pop-up to confirm.

    The recovered file is returned to Recordings.

  • To permanently delete the file, click the Trash icon and then select Delete in the pop-up to confirm.
  • To permanently delete all recordings, select the Delete All button and then select Delete All in the pop-up to confirm.

You can't recover deleted files after you delete them from the Deleted Recordings folder.
