Solution:

An administrator must first grant permission for individual host accounts to specify default dial-in numbers. For help, see: Configure Teleconferencing Options for Your Site in Cisco Webex Site Administration

To change the default call-in numbers in Modern View:

  1. Log in to your Webex site. (Example: SITENAME.Webex.com)
  2. Select Preferences in the left navigation bar, then select Audio and Video.
  3. Under Default call-in number, set up to two default call-in numbers for the sessions you host or attend:

  • Note: If this section is missing, this feature hasn't been enabled by the administrator.
  1. Make any other desired changes, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.


To change the default call-in numbers in Classic View:

  1. Log in to your Webex site. (Example: SITENAME.Webex.com)
  2. Click My Webex near the top of the page.
  3. Click Preferences on the left side of the page.
  4. Expand the Audio section. (You may need to click Set up)
  5. Scroll down to the Set default call-in number for the sessions you host or attend section.
    • Note: If this section is missing, this feature hasn't been enabled by the administrator.
  6. Remove the numbers displayed in the field on the right by selecting an entry, then click the << Remove button.

  1. Select the numbers you would like displayed by default from the field on the left, then click the Add >> button.
  2. Make any other desired changes, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.
