Webex App | Move participants to the lobby during a meeting
If you're the meeting host or cohost and you need to talk privately to some of the participants in the meeting, temporarily move the other participants to the lobby. Participants waiting in the lobby can't hear or see any of the shared content or interact with anyone in the meeting.
On desktop, you can move participants to the lobby from a breakout session.
You can move any participant to the lobby, except for the presenter. You can’t move the participant with the presenter role, even if they're not currently sharing.
You can't move participants who join the meeting by phone only or join by entering a video address (SIP address).
This feature is available on our Webex Suite meeting platform. Find out if your meetings use the Webex Suite meeting platform.
This feature isn't available when you use the web app or when you connect your desktop app to a device.
