Update the headset firmware

When you connect your headset, the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app automatically checks the headset model and firmware version. You can then update your headset if a new firmware version is available.

You can also update your headset directly in a Chrome browser using the Cisco Accessory Hub web app.

Before you begin

Make sure you've connected your headset to your computer.

1

Open the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app.

2

Choose Accessories, and choose your headset.

3

Choose Headset info from the left pane.

4

Click Start update.

If you want to update from a local firmware file, you can upload manually by clicking Select file.

Test advance releases of Cisco Headset firmware

We constantly strive to improve and enhance the Cisco Headsets. The Cisco Accessory Hub Beta feature gives users a chance to test and provide feedback on headset improvements before they are available to the general public. You can switch back to the regular firmware release version at any time. Click Cisco Headsets to review the respective firmware release notes.

This option becomes visible only when a Beta firmware is currently available. Keep in mind that beta releases aren't fully tested and may contain open issues that we are working to resolve. We make improvements and apply fixes based on customer feedback.

1

Open the Cisco Accessory Hub desktop app.

2

Click your headset on the Accessories tab to open the accessory settings.

3

Go to the Headset info tab and enable the Beta firmware option under Beta test.

The app automatically prompts you to update your headset to the latest beta version.
