Webex App | Send a Message to Someone on Another Instant Messaging App
You can send a plain text message to someone who is using another instant messaging app. If they're using Jabber, Pidgin, or another supported XMPP app or if they're using Skype for Business or another SIP federated app. Your organization's administrator can enable instant messaging for specific domains or organizations.
You can't create a new space with Webex App on mobile or web. However, when you create the space using the desktop apps, you can use the mobile and web apps to send and receive messages in the space.

Go to Messaging , click , and then choose External Instant message. |

Enter an instant messaging address, and click Create. Then, type and send your message. When you send a message to a person on another instant messaging app, you create a space for the two of you, group spaces aren't supported. Some of the options are different for these type of spaces:
