When you're sharing content with video or audio, you should check these options:

  • Share computer audio—Everyone can hear the audio.

  • Optimize for video—The video plays back much more smoothly, because the content displays at up to 30 frames per second (fps) with a resolution of 720p. For example, if you're sharing a video, the frame rate increases and this reduces any lag.

When you join a meeting with more than 25 people, you may not see an improvement in frame rate.

When you're connected to a device, the shared content displays on the device with a gray border.

If you move another application over the one you're sharing, everyone sees a gray box.

Webex Teams needs an extension to share your computer audio. If you don't have this extension, then Webex Teams downloads it when you click Share computer audio. You must have administrator permission on your computer to install the extension and share audio.
