Order a G2G subscription

You can order a G2G license using Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW). Ensure you specify the number of "simultaneous" meetings you need.

"Simultaneous" in this context refers to the number of meetings that the single service app hosts, which are in the "started" state at the same time.

Setup your subscription and G2G site

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email invitation to set up your subscription. As a provisioning administrator in Control Hub, use the subscription to activate the G2G calling feature.

  1. Sign in to Control Hub.
  2. In the Overview page, click Complete provisioning to finish provisioning your services.

  3. You’ll see a summary of your subscription. Click Set up now to continue.

  4. Enter the Guest-to-Guest URL name (G2G site name) and select a Time zone.

  5. Click on Next and Submit to provision your services.

  6. You can see the newly added G2G site in Services > Meetings. It is labeled as a Guest-to-Guest site under Additional Information.

G2G meetings occur on dedicated sites. You can’t reuse any of your existing meeting sites or share the G2G site with regular users. Only one G2G service app is authorized for a G2G site.

Authorize the G2G service app

Prerequisite

G2G service app is responsible for scheduling and hosting meetings on the G2G site. The administrator must authorize the Service App in the Control Hub.

For a service app to be visible in the Service App management page, the developer must either submit their app for approval in their own organization or in the Webex AppHub. This submission done in the Developer Portal.

Authorize the G2G service app for your G2G site.

  1. Sign in to Control Hub and go to Management > Apps, then select the Service apps tab.
  2. Select the G2G service app. The G2G service app is uniquely identified by the scope guest:meeting_rw.
  3. On the service app details flyout, enable the Authorized toggle.
  4. Select the G2G site when authorizing the G2G Service App as a Full Administrator.

  5. Click Save.
