Feedback?Phones registered to Cisco Unified CM support the following two types of speed-dial numbers.

Speed dials: These are assigned to lines and users can call the associated number by highlighting the configured line and press Select.

Abbreviated dials: These allow users to dial the assigned short index to place a call to the associated number using the Abbr Dial softkey.
Cisco Unified CM provides a total of 199 speed-dial and abbreviated-dial settings.

In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, select . |

Locate the phone that you will set up. |

In the Phone Configuration window, do one of the following:
A Speed Dial Configuration window appears, which contains settings for both speed dials and abbreviated dials. |

Enter valid speed-dial numbers in the Number fields and a label in the Label fields.

Click Save. |
