If you're calling someone from your desktop or mobile app, you can turn off the video before you start the call by making an audio call.

If you're set up with Webex Calling, there are some things to note:

• When you make an audio call and then choose to change to a video call, video is only transmitted when the recipient turns on their video.
• When you make a video call and then either party decides to turn off their video, no video is transmitted for either side.
