Webex App | Audio and video calls
Feedback?
With Webex App, you can make audio or video calls. So, if you're having a bad hair day or calling someone while on the go, you don't have to worry about sharing video if you don't want to. But, when you're ready to meet face-to-face, a video call is just a click away!
Audio Calls
If you're calling someone from your desktop or mobile app, you can turn off the video before you start the call by making an audio call.
Video Calls
Or, if you want the person to be able to see you, make your call a video call. You can do that from desktop, mobile, or web. If you change your mind, you can always turn off your video during your call.
And if you'd prefer not to share your video in any of the calls that you receive, you can turn off your video for all incoming calls too.
If you're set up with Webex Calling, there are some things to note:
- When you make an audio call and then choose to change to a video call, video is only transmitted when the recipient turns on their video.
- When you make a video call and then either party decides to turn off their video, no video is transmitted for either side.
