Device management

Zoom Rooms Mode Activation	Zoom Rooms mode cannot be enabled through Control Hub.	Zoom Rooms mode must be enabled using another supported configuration method.

Camera and video

Area	Limitation	Impact
Smart Gallery	Smart Gallery camera framing is not available.	Participants are not framed automatically using Smart Gallery.
Local Preview	Built-in or overlaid local camera preview is not supported in Zoom Rooms mode.	Users cannot preview their camera through RoomOS before joining.
Connected Devices	Zoom Rooms may not retrieve the complete list of connected devices.	Some connected cameras, speakers or microphones may be unavailable for selection.
Video Mute	Zoom video-mute state is not synchronized with RoomOS.	The Zoom and RoomOS interfaces may show different video-mute states.
Camera Mode	Camera mode changes made in RoomOS are not reflected in the Zoom Rooms UI.	The Zoom Rooms UI may show an outdated camera mode, making it harder for users to confirm which mode is active.

Interoperability

Incoming Webex Calls	Accepting incoming Webex calls while Zoom Rooms is running requires verification.	Users may need to switch to RoomOS to receive a Webex call.
Google Meet Join	The Google Meet join application is not available in the side panel.	Users must use another supported method to join Google Meet meetings.

User interface

Software Information	About this device does not show a Zoom Rooms Software section.	Users cannot view Zoom Rooms software details from this page.
PIN Lock	Side-panel calling apps remain available while Zoom Rooms is PIN locked.	Calls can still be started from side-panel apps.
UI Extensions	Web apps and web widgets saved in the local web interface's UI Extension editor may not appear on the Zoom Rooms device.	The configured web app or web widget is unavailable on the device.

APIs and integrations
